The special investigating team (SIT) of the Narcotics Control Bureau has virtually exonerated Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan of possession of drugs. The SIT report has said that there was, thus, no need to take his phone and check his chats.

The report also said that there was no evidence that Aryan was part of any drugs-related conspiracy or had any link with any international drugs trafficking syndicate.

The report said that there were several irregularities in the raid on the yacht Cordelia during which he was arrested.  This was completely at an opposite pole of the findings of the NCB’s Mumbai unit.

The report also said that the raid was not video-recorded as mandated by the NCB manual. Also the drugs recovered from multiple accused arrested in the case are shown as single recovery.

This is, however, not the final report of SIT and a final report on this is expected to be submitted in a couple of months.
