Google has been a bit slow in reacting to several market launches with its own product in the Pixel range, but now here are some sneak peeks into what we can expect. Remember, some are prototype features.
What Google plans to do with its new Pixel phones, is leverage its own image processing to enable new software features and improve image quality. So there is some new stuff, some of these new features never seen on Pixel devices. The issue is that many of these features may actually be prototype features and may not reach retail.
The rumour is that Google’s latest phone will come with 6 GB RAM + 128 GB of internal storage. This means that while the phone’s reaction time will be fast, you will also not have to worry too much about space constraints while saving your files such as videos, songs, games, documents, and more.
Also there is talk that the phone will be powered by an Octa-Core processor that will let you enjoy a smooth and faster performance. Also, you will be able to access multiple applications and play intense graphics games without any lags or interruptions.
However, the phone may come with a single camera setup on the rear. Features should include Digital Zoom, Auto Flash, Face detection and Touch to focus.
The OS
What has been learnt is that the phone (likely to be called Google Pixel 6S 5G) will run on the Android v11 operating system. It will have a 4500 mAh battery. This will let you use the phone for a longer time period while listening to songs, watching movies, playing games, and more.
Various connectivity options on the Google Pixel 6S 5G might include WiFi – Yes, Wi- Fi 802.11, b/g/n, Mobile Hotspot, Bluetooth – Yes, v5.0, and 5G supported by device (network not rolled-out in India), 4G (supports Indian bands), 3G, 2G. Sensors on the Smartphone might include Accelerometer, Gyro, Proximity, Compass, Barometer.
