Finally the heat wave lashing all of India has abated a bit. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD) states located in the north, northwest, and central India will get relief from intense heat over the next two-three days and rains are expected too.

According to the IMD the maximum temperature has fallen to two- four degrees Celsius.

However, this is not the end of summer. Following the possible rain, the mercury is likely to go up yet again, and this time it will be the full blast of summer.

There is expected to be isolated light rainfall, dust storm, and thunderstorm with winds gusting up to 50 kmph under the influence of a western disturbance in Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan.
