Lata Mangeshkar, the Nightingale of India, who had just been taken off ventilator support, was back again on ventilator support. Recently, the 92-year-old singer had been taken out of ventilator support and put on normal oxygen support in ICU of Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai.
As per a statement from her doctor at the hospital, her “health condition has deteriorated again.”
“The condition of singer Lata Mangeshkar has deteriorated again and she is on a ventilator and critical,” said Dr Pratit Samdhani of the hospital. He said that she is in ICU and is under observation. She was hospitalized on January 11 after testing positive for Covid-19.
Dr Samdani confirmed the development and said, “Lata ji is under strict observation. She remains in a delicate condition.”
