New Night Travelling Rules for Trains

According to the Ministry of Railways, many passengers complain about the disturbances while travelling at night. They complain about loud noises and people listening to the music at night on speakers.

According to the Ministry of Railways, many passengers complain about the disturbances while travelling at night. They complain about loud noises and  people listening to the music  at night on speakers.

The move came after the Railway Board received complaints from passengers about some people talking loudly or listening to music on mobile during the night.

Keeping this in mind, the Board has decided that during your night journey, no passenger will be allowed to talk in loud voice on mobile after 10 pm, nor s/he will be able to listen to music in a loud voice.

Action will be taken against such people on receiving complaints from passengers.

New Indian Railway Rules to be Followed After 10 PM
1. No passenger is suppose to have loud conversations at night. Passengers cannot listen to music loudly.

Passengers are not allowed to turn on the lights except the night light, for other passengers to let them sleep.

3. Travellers at night cannot conversate loudly for the sake of other passengers’ sleep. On any such complaint the railway will take action.

4.Railways staff will immediately take action on complaints, and they will always take care of elderly, differently-abled passengers and women above 60 years ago.
