World Human Spirit Day is marked yearly on February 17 as a day to promote awareness about meditation and its power of healing. The occasion aims to encourage mindfulness by forming the habit of constant reflection.
The observation of World Human Spirit Day was initiated by Michael Levy of Point of Life in 2003 to encourage people to live peacefully, and creatively, love life and make it meaningful. On this special day, people are suggested to observe five-minute silence and to feel a sense of connection between mind and soul. To perform powerful mediation, encourage people to do as much as they can. Powerful meditation makes people stay calm and help in bringing peace and harmony across the globe. Undoubtedly, silence connects people to spiritual meaningful forces and when they remain silent for a while they are renewed and refreshed.
