In recent years we’ve seen a tremendous shift in attitude toward healthy living. The pandemic, in particular, has moved our focus to our health, with a particular emphasis on food to prevent various ailments. However, the World Health Organization has long worked to raise awareness about health and health-related concerns, as well as how to address them.

The organization has even declared the April 7 as World Health Day, with different themes focused on current health issues that require immediate attention each year. World Health Day was first proposed in 1948 during the inaugural World Health Assembly, and it was first commemorated in 1950.

Our Planet, Our Health’ is the theme for World Health Day 2022. The theme for this year is to focus global attention on the health of our planet and the people who live on it.

According to the World Health Organization, more than 13 million deaths are caused by avoidable environmental factors each year. This includes the climate crisis, which is the world’s single greatest health concern. The climatic emergency is also a health emergency.

While there is little that ordinary people can do to change climatic conditions, everyone can improve their health by eating a healthy diet. When we think about environmental variables that can harm our health, pollution is the first thing that comes to mind. As a result, eating a diet rich in foods that can help reduce air pollution symptoms may be a smart idea for everyone.
