The Omicron effect has sped through the country fast and now Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has tested positive for Covid-19. In his tweet, Kejriwal has said that while his symptoms were mild, he wants all who have come in contact with him in the recent past to get tested.
Recently, Kejriwal has been on election campaign tours, travelling to Punjab, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh.
“I have tested positive for Covid. Mild symptoms. Have isolated myself at home. Those who came in touch with me in the last few days, kindly isolate yourself and get yourself tested,” Kejriwal tweeted.
He was in Dehradun on Monday before returning. This is the first time he has tested positive. Last year, though he had symptoms and had isolated himself, he actually had tested negative.
